Check the chapter

A quiz that explains the miss.

Each chapter ends with a multiple-choice quiz. The right choice is marked, and the explanation says why the others do not fit the text.

How a question is built

  • One chapter

The quiz is written from that chapter's text, not from a general topic list.

  • Choices

Several options, one correct. Distractors are the nearby mistakes a student actually makes with this material.

  • Explanation

After you answer, you see why the correct choice matches the book and what the other choices get wrong.

  • Saved attempts

Every try is stored on the chapter. The guide keeps your best score, not only the latest one.

What the score is for

A quiz is a chapter check, not the whole course. On My study you can see how many chapters you have quizzed, the average of your best scores, and which chapter is the weakest.

Chapters whose best score is under 80 percent are called out so you know where to read again. The next unquizzed chapter is listed too, so the plan does not stall after a single high score.

The writing of the quiz follows the same level as the guide. A grade-school explanation stays concrete. A college explanation can use the term the textbook uses.

Quiz questions

Can I retake a quiz?

Yes. New attempts are saved. The best percentage is the one the dashboard uses.

Does the quiz replace the study questions?

No. Study questions are open prompts with model answers. The quiz is the multiple-choice check after that practice.
